Learn DBT skills to manage interactions, navigate relationships and communicate effectively

This module helps individuals to examine their relationship dynamics and find more balance. It discusses the importance of clearly identifying goals and priorities in interactions with others to improve skillful relating. It provides clarity on maintaining healthy boundaries and teaches skills to communicate effectively to increase the chance you will get your relationship needs met in healthy ways.
It teaches skills to improve relationships and to say no when it is wise to do so.

What is included?


• Weekly live 90 minute Q&A to connect, clarify and deepen your practice.
• 90-120 minute in-depth DBT skills training sessions with additional material to teach you how to change yourself and apply the skills in daily life. I take this training well beyond the text-books and share examples and genuine insights from years of personal and professional DBT practice
• $120 AUD per week (plus GST) for nine weeks, $80 (plus GST) for concession card holders*. Yvette

Dr Yvette Vardy (she/her) is a clinical psychologist with a strong interest in borderline personality disorder and in helping those with complex issues and traumatic histories to overcome their difficulties and recover. She has established several Dialectical Behaviour Therapy programs in Australia and worked as a senior educator with Spectrum, Personality Disorders Service of Victoria, training clinicians state-wide.

Dr Vardy has completed Intensive and Comprehensive DBT and DBT-PE training and written a doctorate investigating the intolerance of "aloneness" in borderline personality disorder. In 2019, she published a peer-reviewed journal article on this work, which includes an assessment tool capturing the intensity and severity of the aloneness experience. She is passionate about breaking down barriers to accessing quality care.
